SULLVN Hits the “Rooftop” with Their Latest Summer-Ready Single
San Diego soul-pop collective sullvn is back with a bang, releasing their newest single, “Rooftop” which is a sun-soaked, horn-heavy celebration of love’s euphoric early stages. It’s the kind of track that captures a very specific feeling: the high of a new connection that makes the world feel like it’s spinning in your favor.

Led by frontman Robert “Sully” Sullivan, sullvn continues to prove they’re not just a band, they’re a full-on venture. The group’s lineup features a rotating cast of top-tier musicians, including GRAMMY-nominated bassist James East and internationally renowned saxophonist Tomoka Nomura-Jarvis. Their sound, often described as a genre-defying mix of soul, jazz, pop, and Latin flair, is tailor-made for both festival stages and late-night drives along the coast.
“Rooftop” follows March’s release of “The Fighter,” a slick and groovy anthem that blends vintage instrumentation with a modern pop sensibility. Both tracks are part of a larger creative burst from the band, with production support from Rome Ramirez (Sublime with Rome), who’s shaping much of their current sonic direction.

Live, sullvn has already brought their electric presence to BeachLife Festival and a run with The Wailers. Up next: Fiesta Del Sol in Solana Beach and Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville which are just a few of the many stops this year where fans can catch the band’s high-energy, joy-filled shows.
After a successful 2024 debut EP Love and Lies, sullvn is moving into a new era. One defined by confidence, charisma, and songs that stick with you long after the final note. “Rooftop” is proof that they’re just getting started.
