Amplifiedsd is a publication site that was founded in December of 2022 by Ellie Cope and Madi Coe, who both work at Amplified Studios located in Carlsbad, CA. The goal of Amplifiedsd is to create a space for musicians/artists in the San Diego community to promote and highlight their events and talent. On this site, you will find music events happening in San Diego, write-ups/reviews on local artists, interviews with underground acts, photo showcases, and more. Looking to learn more about your local scene? Look no further!

Overall, we come at this with the goal of building community, connection, and attention geared towards the music scene here in San Diego, California.

Amplifiedsd also throws monthly live music events promoting local talent and the publication service.

Include date/time, venue, other bands playing, ticket price/ticket link if you have it, and all ages vs 21+

PHOTO/VIDEO SUBMISSIONS:

Include title of submission, 1-2 paragraph write-up (optional), portfolio link (IG or website is fine) and send a google drive link to the photos you want uploaded to ellie@amplifiedstudios.com.

MUSIC SUBISSIONS:

Include title of submission, whether it’s a release or a show or something else, Spotify or soundcloud link, social media link, and whatever write-up you want.

WANT TO WRITE FOR US?

If you would like to be a featured writer on Amplifiedsd, send over your name and how much you would be able to write each month. No qualifications are needed. For the subject, select “Become a Writer” when filling out contact form. You can also just submit your write up under “music submissions” if you are looking to have your work posted but not be a featured artists.
